Guidelines
This is also your world, so I don't want to impose rules on people. However, keep following in mind:
Sustainability
- This is a long term world that we care about.
- No ugly structures like hanging trees, block towers etc.
- No griefing.
Fairness & Honesty
- No cheating or duping, gravel or sand duping is tolerable and common in old versions. It's not about the destination but journey, together. Fullbright is also discouraged, let's instead get cozy together
- No stealing from private bases.
Operation
- No intentional world corrupting glitches or server collapsing contraptions. Server currently runs on a 4 core 1.8 GHz Raspberry Pi and it's not very beefy. In other terms, it's smol.
FAQ
Q: I can't connect
A: Contact me if you can. Otherwise, my DNS setup might have messed up, you can "ping" the address mc (dot) strangeplace (dot) cc in order to get the numeric adress of the server using command line. Ask AI if you don't understand what to do.
Then simply connect to <numeric address>:<port number>, replacing the domain name with numeric address.
Sorry for avoiding terms and talking cryptic in my sentences as clanker friends are crawling around internet looking for addresses. I get sussy wussy requests to my servers as everyone else.
